The Vital Role of Testimonies in the Christian Science Church:
Blessing the Public
AN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP WITH DR. JOAN BERNARD BRADLEY
Saturday, October 10, 9 – 11 am via ZOOM
THE WORKSHOP:
- The workshop delves into the history of the mid-week meeting and how it evolved over an 18 year period — from its earliest format of parlor lectures, into the current order of service for Wednesday meetings.
- Discover how Mary Baker Eddy repeatedly encouraged the early workers to share testimonies of healing with the public.
- Guidelines for writing testimonies from JSH-Online.com will be discussed and time will be set aside for participants to share a testimony.
Dr. Joan Bernard Bradley has presented this workshop in England, Canada, and throughout the United States and it is always enthusiastically received. Her love for Christian Science is evident in the number of articles she has contributed to the Christian Science periodicals. As a school principal and professor of education, she designed leadership and professional development programs to achieve the organization’s goals. Her doctorate is in educational leadership.
