Dear friend,
Welcome to a new month filled with fresh opportunities to pray together! Broadview is grateful that the Spiritual Activities have become a valuable tool for prayer and study for the wider field of Christian Scientists. One participant shared that she found reading all the activities for each week on Monday added purpose to each reading of the Bible Lesson throughout her week.
In creating these calendars, there is always prayerful listening, and clues from the Lessons themselves play a significant role. For example, our Broadview community has noticed how often there are repeated themes and verses in our Bible Lesson sermons. When this occurs it always feels like a call to take special notice and be extra alert to that specific message from divine Mind! Consequently, such repeated themes and verses often inspire a spiritual activity to help us more fully experience or examine the message.
