Happy September!
We find ourselves in “back-to-school” mode, with our Man Bible Lesson inspiring us to research the stories of women such as the daughters of Zelophehad, Deborah the prophetess judge, and devoted Anna, who was one of the first to identify Jesus as the Messiah.
This week’s Cedars metaphysical article by Christie Hanzlik says this Lesson “asks us to ponder metaphysical concepts about gender and the male and female of God’s creation.” There’s that wonderful word again – “ponder!” Yes, divine Mind continually prompts us to think and love deeply. We have an immediate opportunity to do both with today’s Spiritual Activity: “Affirm that the ‘infinitude of Love’ is protecting all from gender discrimination.”
The rest of the month, we’ll be refining our understanding of substance, matter, reality, and unreality, with ample opportunities to bless ourselves and others in the good work. So, let’s hit the books with eager expectation of good and enthusiasm to learn!
