Happy New Year, dear ones!
Broadview is delighted to begin 2025 with you as we embark on these Spiritual Activities that assist us in living the Golden Rule more consistently and encourage our meaningful engagement with the Bible Lessons.
When individual staff members heard the December 16, 2024 Sentinel Watch podcast with David Sytsma, his descriptions of his study of the Lesson truly resonated with us. He shared his personal method of writing out every citation of the Lesson and reasoning through their meanings and applications. This active reasoning, he explained, was a way of consciously molding and shaping his thoughts, referring to page 248 of Science and Health: “We are all sculptors, working at various forms, moulding and chiseling thought.”
