Last month, an individual came to us needing full bed care. The day after the gu
est’s arrival, our Christian Science nurses thought to ask the guest if they would like to try to walk to the restroom. The guest sat up, pulled themselves to the side of the bed and walked to the restroom with the support of two nurses. Within a couple of days, the guest walked from their room to our Activities Room with just a walker and went home a few days after that. We rejoiced with gratitude to see such progress!
Our Visiting Christian Science nurses are grateful to have witnessed healing after a fall and much progress with several other clients. The good is expected to continue, and it won’t be long before our nurses are no longer needed on these cases!
