Warm Season’s Greetings to each of you!
Broadview held a lovely activity in November expressing our gratitude in song singing many praising hymns from our two hymnals. It feels wonderful to praise and it’s important to note that our Bible Lessons usually include a passage or two about praising God.
In fact, our upcoming “God the Only Cause and Creator” Lesson sermon, insists we acknowledge God in everything by repeatedly instructing us to praise God for His mighty works and acts, to glorify God’s greatness, to bless God’s name. It is made clear God inspires this praise and that our blessing of God reflects God’s blessing of us!
So while we prepare for the Christmas holiday – planning trips, special events, or menus… while decorating, baking, shopping – let us praise God for the love and inspiration that is the true substance of each task and trust the Christly peace we may experience during it all.
