Dear friend,
Happy autumn! With the days growing shorter, isn’t it fun that we begin this month staying in the light of reality to aid us in seeing clearly the nothingness of unreality? We are assured that “even the darkness will not be darkness” to us! (Ps. 139:12)
That promise carries us onward and upward, enabling us to courageously face the dark suggestions of sin, disease, and death. The “Doctrine of Atonement” Lesson, full of grace and glory, prepares us for tackling the Lessons on “Probation after Death” and “Everlasting Punishment.” These somewhat daunting Lesson sermon topics are actually full of beautiful declarations for us – including God’s redemptive power, our forever oneness with eternal Life, and our freedom from error’s bondage!
