Dear Friends,
We hope this message finds you feeling buoyant after July’s Bible Lesson on Love and ready for another month of uplifting spiritual activities. Wasn’t it enjoyable to spend ten minutes each day specifically focusing on love for God, those in your life, and strangers? I had the luxury of being on vacation that week and easily exceeded the ten-minute goal each day. On Wednesday, after spending time loving strangers and feeling particularly in awe of infinite Love, I received a text from a participant expressing appreciation for those days dedicated to love. I was amazed by Love’s immediate expression of oneness with participants.
This month, we have the pleasure of exploring three more Lessons focused on God-synonyms, encouraging continued love and leading us into new adventures of holy pondering. Russ Gerber’s article “What more do I need” in the July 17, 2023 Christian Science Sentinel discusses the value of “pondering.” It is an honor to share this calendar with you all and to unite in spiritual explorations that promote pondering.
