This year’s Annual Meeting had an extra special feel to it. For some, it was the Irish uilleann pipes and bagpipes welcoming our guests, the colorful lanterns dancing among the trees in our garden, or the #19 golf hole engrafted in our lawn in honor of our featured speaker. For others, it was the joy, laughter, smiles, and inspiration emanating from each and every individual present. But, for us, it was the opportunity to share the healing ministry of Christian Science nursing with so many face-to-face and to express gratitude for all of those who enable this ministry to continue – our staff, our guests, our Board and volunteers, our donors, our local churches, and you!

We love every chance we get to see our Broadview “family” and so appreciate all of those who were with us for the day and who made the meeting such a great success. To relive the memories and the fun, be sure to check out our Annual Meeting 2015 photo album in our photo gallery.

Below, you can listen to a portion of our Christian Science Nurses’ panel and to the complete audio of Brian Kissock’s talk. Both focus on our theme for the meeting, “The Time for Healing is Now!”

Can’t seem to hear the talk by Brian Kissock. When I click on the arrow, nothing happens. Do you have a solution? Thanks Dorohy

Hi, Dear Michael and Loving Staff — I am so happy to see the wonderful progress that Broadview is making with all of you at the helm. Your email format is beautiful. This annual meeting email shows me that Broadview didn’t need to move…. that right where it is, is the right place! The very warm and wide outreach you are facilitating now is certainly bringing an awareness in the So Cal Christian Science community of all that Broadview offers, which is terrific! I was glad to see how many churches contributed to bringing Brian Kissock and his message to Broadview. And the nurse interviews — sweet! — attest the presence of divine Love in their work. I just watched those 8 minutes of interviews with the nurses, enjoyed them, and then….? … did you mean to have the final photo of those 8 minutes be that of Deepak Chopra with the caption ‘You won’t know WHAT YOUR BRAIN CAN DO until you test its limits”, with the banner above stating: “The Time for Healing is Now!”? I can’t imagine that that was your choice! The internet/YouTube is tricky…. I just last week had several days of back and forth with the staff of The Christian Science Monitor because a continuing series of ads touting necessary mammograms was appearing in my daily online CS Monitor email. The CSM staff is monitoring them scrupulously now. I do not think Deepak Chopra’s writings are quite in line with Christian Science. I hope you don’t either! That 6th Tenet by MBE is a demanding one. Most lovingly, Judy Harvey

      Hi Judy,

Thank you for your loving comments and for taking the time to watch the video! Those ads come from YouTube. We’ve turned off what we can but will look into it more.
